University of Lucknow is constantly improving it’s rankings in several indexes around the world. While last year, the university was able to secure positions in the Webometrics Index, The Times Higher Education World University Rankings, and the India Today rankings among others, this year the University of Lucknow has added another feather to its cap and secured 32nd place in universities working in in research in various fields of physical sciences.
University of Lucknow was judged in an indicator of quality of research in the entire country as measured by publications in top journals of physical sciences by the Nature Index. The 32nd position secured by the University along with Indian Institute of Technology Indian School of Mines and University of Burdwan, proves the excellent quality of research papers produced by the faculty of the institute despite its limited resources as compared to the other universities in the list.
