Governor Anandiben Patel expressed displeasure over the delay in the construction works and their poor functioning due to the apathy of the executive institutions of the universities and directed that in every case the construction work should be completed with full quality and timeliness within the stipulated time frame. He directed to issue show cause notices on the institutions which did not complete the work on time. All the executing agencies should ensure to complete the ongoing construction works in the university with punctuality and complete quality. In any case, the cost of construction work, amount and time limit should not change. These instructions were given by the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandiben Patel, during a virtual review meeting from Raj Bhavan, Lucknow, to the Vice Chancellors of the state universities and officials of the executive institutions. He said that for any work, Steemit should be prepared with complete thought so that Steemit does not have to be revised in future.

The Chancellor directed the Vice Chancellors to constitute a committee to monitor the ongoing construction works in the University and send the progress report of the works to the Raj Bhavan every month.

The Governor strongly reprimanded the institutions which are not yet completed for the long-running construction works and also directed to send its detailed report to the Chief Minister. The Governor said that whenever an action plan is prepared for any construction work, before starting it in the university, all the Vice Chancellors should make a one time agreement with the executive organization to complete its work with full quality and timeliness and for its monitoring, the technical wing should make a one-time agreement. Also review the progress of work from time to time. He said that the design should be thoroughly discussed before starting the work so that later there is no scope for change in the design. The Governor said that before starting the construction work, complete all the formalities and if no objection certificate is to be taken from anywhere, then it should also be obtained in time. The Governor directed the Vice Chancellors to send all the information sought by the Raj Bhavan on the prescribed time limit and on the prescribed format and before sending it should be ensured that the information being sent is completely true.
