Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad Awadh has been undertaking relief programme since beginning of the pandemic. It has also distributed ration, masks and sanitizers to the needy. It has deployed Gram corona prahri in villages to protect the villages from Corona.They are playing their role as gram corona prahari Committee to prevent the spread of corona through quarantine, social distancing, awareness campaign for the workers coming to their respective villages. Ankit Shukla said that to save the villages from the global epidemic Corona ABVP has set up gram corona prahri Committees in the districts of Awadh province and has launched a comprehensive public awareness campaign.The effect of corona was limited in metros and urban areas, but from the last two weeks the way migrant workers labourers from states like Maharashtra,Delhi, Punjab have returned to their respective villages. Since then, the infection of corona has increased in the villages of Uttar Pradesh. ABVP has decided to set up gram corona prahri committees in the villages, these committees will carry out mass public awareness campaigns.They will be informing, motivating migrant workers labourers coming to the villages to go for home quarantine for forteen days, also informing the people of the village about the importance of social distancing, use of masks and scarfs with them on the way out of the house and making them aware of the fact to get out of the house only when it is absolutely necessary.
