Along with disaster management, the Uttar Pradesh government tried to keep the development works dynamic. This had a positive result. It became possible to complete many projects within the stipulated time. During this, projects worth hundreds of crores of rupees were also inaugurated and foundation stones were laid in many districts. The effective conduct of the work was ensured on those whose foundation stone was laid. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had said that the government was trying to secure both life and livelihood. Many notable steps have been taken in this direction. The second wave of Corona has been controlled. But there is a possibility of a third wave. In view of this, Yogi Adityanath had already started management efforts. He visited almost the entire state and took stock of the system. Directed the concerned authorities for improvement. A large number of oxygen plants were set up. Primary health centers are being strengthened. There is an outbreak of diseases like encephalitis during the rainy season. Yogi Adityanath’s efforts have succeeded in controlling this dreadful disease in the last four years. Still, the government does not want any kind of negligence. Appropriate arrangements are being made for this. Apart from this, there are also flood disasters during this period. Two days ago, one hundred and seventy flood rescue projects were inaugurated and the foundation stone of about two hundred and fifty projects was laid. Earlier, the allocation of funds for flood protection works was delayed. Due to this the work also started late. By then there was a flood. Yogi Adityanath has already ensured to provide funds for flood control works. Due to which the works of flood control are completed long before the floods occur. Yogi Adityanath said that the state government is working towards minimizing the damage caused by the floods. Instructions have been given to complete the works related to flood protection, repair, maintenance etc. on time. Apart from this, the pace of public interest and other development works was not curtailed during this period. The central and state governments are working to provide pure drinking water to every household in the state. Soon work will be started for the provision of drinking water to fifty thousand revenue villages. In two years, every house in the state will start getting pure drinking water. With this the resolve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji to tap every house will be realized.
The fertilizer factory in Gorakhpur will be ready by October this year. The Prime Minister will inaugurate this factory. At the same time, AIIMS with world class medical facilities will also be inaugurated by the Prime Minister.
During the last four years there has been a vast expansion of irrigation facilities in the state. Many pending projects have been completed. Twenty five lakh hectares of land has got irrigation facility during this period. Saryu, Banganga, Madhya Ganga projects will be completed soon.
Two lakh hectares of additional irrigated capacity will be created in the state through these projects. Record development projects have come up and development has taken place in Kashi during the last years. Yogi Adityanath has completed 50-bed women’s hospital in Kashi’s Pt Deendayal Upadhyay Government Hospital complex, construction of three-lane railway bridge on Varanasi Ghazipur road, Godulia multi-level parking and completed projects of Rudraksh Convention Center built in the shape of Shivling. On-site inspection of The construction work of Rudraksh Convention Center built in the shape of Shivling, a symbol of Japan-India friendship in Kashi, is almost complete. It is a unique convention center that showcases the amalgamation of Japanese and Indian architectural styles. The foundation of Rudraksh Convention Center was laid about six years ago by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during their visit to Varanasi. The center has been developed as a major center of cultural and modern interaction. After performing darshan at Kashi Vishwanath temple, Yogi Adityanath conducted on-site inspection of the progress of construction work of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Corridor and reviewed it with the officials present on the spot.
