India has a parliamentary democracy. In this, the President is the constitutional head of the country. The direct responsibility and accountability at the federal level towards the common man lies with the Prime Minister. This constitutional system keeps the President away from the common man. Almost all their programs are in accordance with this arrangement and decorum. The bonds of security and protocol are also not reduced. President Ram Nath Kovind himself mentions these bonds. He said that he wanted to come to his village only during his previous visits. But this could not happen due to security reasons. This time he had come to Kanpur by special train. There was a festive atmosphere in Paraunkh. After receiving the information about the arrival of the President, the residents living elsewhere had also reached. Five helipads were built in this village. Three helipads were for the President’s helicopter and one for the Chief Minister and the Governor’s helicopter. The President interacted with the general public through a public meeting. In this, seating arrangement was made for five thousand people with social distancing. Here, nine village heads of nearby gram panchayats welcomed the President. On reaching Paraunkh village, the President first reached Pathri Devi temple. He was accompanied by his wife Savita Kovind and their daughter.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel also accompanied him to the temple. The President bowed his head and circumambulated at Pathri Devi Temple. Priest Krishna Kumar Bajpai performed the puja. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced the approval of a medical college in Kanpur Dehat. The President addressed the public meeting. Said that I am more happy than you are happy with my arrival. That is why after getting down from the helicopter, he touched the feet of his earth. He said that I am a citizen like you, only he has the status of first citizen in the constitution. Didn’t think in my dream that I would serve as President. We are all from equal background. The Prime Minister has given a lot to UP but the President is the first from UP. Now the way has been opened for the people of UP to become the President. Pucca houses were built in the village, it was nice to see Rohaniya market. The President said that my classmates Jaswant Singh, Chandrabhan Singh, Dashrath Singh are greatly missed. There is an attempt to promote fitness and immunity during the Corona period. Get yourself vaccinated and inspire others too. I will personally arrange for the villagers to see Rashtrapati Bhavan. You guys come and see. Thirty in Paraukh and sixty-six people personally met the President in Pukhrayan to meet the President. While coming from Delhi to Kanpur, Ramnath Kovind stayed at Rura and Jhinjhak stations. Interacted with local people. Said that I have an old relation with this earth. Paraunkh is my birthplace and motherland. But after coming to Jhinjhak station today I have come to take everyone’s blessings. He brought back his old memories. Said that when I used to hesitate and sit at this station for hours. Very close to me here were Baburam Bajpai and Ram Bilas Tripathi of Rasulabad. Glory to God, today both the people are in the shelter of God. The distance is because of protocol, not from the heart. He said that I have mentioned these two names but countless people got separated. Today I remember those souls. He said that I did not have a program to come to Jhinjhak, but after meeting the Railway Minister after leaving Delhi, he said that there is Jhinjhak and Rura station near your village. That is why I am present here today. But it was a great pleasure to be here. He said that one more thing that DFC was constructed in Kanpur countryside. Along with this, people will also benefit a lot from the front corridor. While addressing he said that you are also a citizen of India and I am also a citizen of India. The only difference is that being the President, I have been put in the front row. But there is a very old relationship with this land. He said that when I got out of the train from Delhi, many facilities were seen at all the stations, which was very happy to see. But still I want to say that as many facilities as possible should be given to the railway passengers. Said that when I was an MP, the trains which had stopped, got a complaint that they were closed. He said that all the trains which were stopped due to Corona will start again. The country became independent, there has been a lot of progress, but a lot remains but we all should contribute in the progress of the country. We are all citizens of the country. We talk a lot about rights, we all have responsibilities.
