The Literary Festival in which virtual interface with Mr. Anupam Kher and eminent actor in the Indian film industry was organized. Honorable Vice Chancellor of Lucknow University, Prof. Alok Kumar Rai welcomed the actor Anupam Kher and said that although the university family could not get Kher ji’s connection, it is an achievement in itself by connecting Mr Kher through virtual medium and appearing on a screen of laptop in front of him. are equal. He apprised the Mr. Kher about the recent achievements of the university and the innovative steps taken during this centennial year. This entire virtual interface was was moderated by Dr. Yatindra Mishra. Mr. Kher told that although he was not the student of University of Lucknow but since he was living in Nirala Nagar (an area near to the University of Campus) he mostly pass from the front of the University of Lucknow and that was the reason he feel high degree of attachment with the University of Lucknow.

He said that he purchased his first atlas cycle in Lucknow. During the entire conversation, Mr. Kher conveyed about all the lessons life taught him. He also told about his views on acting and Indian cinema and talked about his state of the art film “Saraansh” and Accidental Prime Minister“. He said that “Acting is about doing not about thinking”. He told about his father who was his best friend and said that he learnt many things from his father who use to say that “failure is an event”. At the end he said that his favourite books are “Charlie Chaplin Autobiogrpahy” “Lust for Life” and “How the Steel was Tampered”. He also talked about the various aspects of international cinema and their professionalism. At the end Prof. Nishi Pandey gave vote of thanks to Mr. Anupam Kher and Dr. Yatindra Mishra for encouraging students. Dr Keya Pandey was anchoring the session. During the entire interface program Vice Chancellor, University of Lucknow, Professor Alok Rai actively participated.
