University of Lucknow has uploaded around 2600 e-content on the State Government e-content portal and it has acquired first position and continues to lead amongst all the Universities of the state. In order to maintain this lead University held a Marathon Manthan (Meeting Today on October 8, 2020). Manthan was lead by the Vice Chancellor Prof Alok Kumar Rai, The meeting was attended by Dean Academics Prof Arvind Mohan, Registrar Vinod Singh, all other Deans, Heads, Directors and Coordinators of different programs. Vice chancellor reviewed the current status of e-contents loaded from each Department and institute. It was resolved that each Teacher will contribute 5 e-content every week. It was felt that while numbers are important quality of contents are at least as important. Hence it was further resolved that University will ensure high quality of e-contents which are uploaded. Vice chancellor expressed his satisfaction at Universities performance in online education in these difficult times including the effort towards facilitating students through availability of high quality e-content
